PHOTO SHOOT WARDROBE

To achieve good photos, it is important to be prepared for your photography session. You will need to choose looks that emphasize your style, look and marketability. Go prepared for anything! Location shoots are strictly based on weather. Opt for solid colors and a variety of fabrics. Remember to avoid strong prints or bold patterns, as they tend to detract from the face.

 Make sure the clothing fits properly.
 All garments need to be clean and gently ironed, on hangers as to not show wrinkles.
 Do not bring expensive jewelry; small costume jewelry pieces are acceptable.

Be sure to bring a good variety of different styles, layered clothing works well. Separates work best. Your stylist, and/or Photographer will help with your selection at the shoot. When in doubt bring it!
Make sure your nails are nicely manicured and all one length. Generally short, and a clear polish or French manicure is the desired look. Don’t forget your toes!
Check your hair, if it needs a trim be sure not to go too wild. Don’t wash your hair the morning of the shoot, clean your hair the day before as it’s easier to work with “dirty hair.”
Drink plenty of water; avoid salty foods prior to the shoot so that you are not puffy on the day of the shoot. PLEASE – get plenty of sleep the night before a shoot. Please be on time for your photo session.
